Ambassador Wu said that, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Yoweri Museveni, the China-Uganda Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership has continued to deepen. As activities under the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges gain momentum, China-Uganda education cooperation continues to flourish. He encouraged the students to excel in their studies and contribute to Uganda’s development and China-Uganda friendship.

The student representatives expressed appreciation to the Chinese side for providing them with opportunities to study in China. They said they would cherish the opportunity, enhance their knowledge and skills, gain a deeper understanding of China’s modernization experience, and devote themselves to Uganda’s national development, while serving as bridges of friendship and cooperation between Uganda and China. The event featured warm and lively exchanges.
