President Hu Jintao Sends a Message of Condolences to His Indian Counterpart Kalam over Heavy Casualties Caused by a Couple of Bombing Incidents in New Delhi

On October 30, Chinese President Hu Jintao sent a message of condolences to his Indian counterpart Abdul Kalam over the heavy casualties caused by a couple of bombing incidents in New Delhi, the capital of India and expressed sincere solicitude to the Indian government and people, the families of the victims and the injured and profound condolences to the unfortunate victims on behalf of the Chinese government and people and in his own name. President Hu noted that the Chinese government condemns all forms of terrorism adn would like to work with the international community including India to jointly combat terrorism and safeguard world peace and stability.

On the same day, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council and Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing sent messages of condolences respectively to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Foreign Minister Natwar Singh.
